Creating a New Trunk
Introduction
New SIP Trunks can easily be created through the the main trunk dashboard
Guide
Click the 'Trunks' link on the left-hand menu, underneath 'Trunks Dashboard'. This will bring up an overview page of your existing trunks.
From here, click the 'Create New Trunk' button in the upper-right-hand corner, which will bring up the a page full of details required to create a new trunk.
'Name' is the name/description you want to give the trunk. 'Subscription' is the subscription you wish the Trunk to be charged from. 'Endpoint' is the Endpoint you want the trunk to be connected to. 'Name' and 'Description' can all be changed at a later time.
There is also the option to create a new 'Inbound Endpoint' for the Endpoint when the trunk is created. This will be automatically selected by default. This can be viewed once created on the Endpoints Overview page in the SIP Inbound platform, with the trunk name.
Once you're happy, click Create Trunk and your new Trunk will be created. This will bring up the details page for your newly created Trunk.
From here you can rename the trunk, change the Endpoint, view provisioning (Authentication Details and Gateway) and add a new IP Address, more details can be found on the Adding a New IP Address page.
This page is available for all new and existing Trunks by clicking the 'Details' button next to the trunk from the 'Overview' page.
